This page explains what we collect, why, and what we do with it. We keep it short on purpose.
What We Collect
If you join the waitlist: your name, email address, and the course you’re interested in.
If you enroll in a course: your name, email address, mobile number, and mailing address; your process server certification number if you provide it; your payment, which is processed by our payment provider; and your course activity, including pages viewed, time spent, quiz attempts, scores, and completion dates.
Identity verification is handled by our verification provider. They check your photo identification. We receive only the result and the date, and we never store the image of your ID.
We never see or store your card number.
Why We Collect It
To deliver the course you bought, to confirm the person who enrolled is the person completing it, to record your participation time, and to issue and verify your certificate. Approved course providers are required to do the last three.
Who We Share It With
The Judicial Branch Certification Commission, when it requests records or the law requires it, and the service providers we use to run the site, only as needed to operate it. We don’t sell your information, and we don’t share it for advertising.
How Long We Keep It
Course completion and participation records are kept at least three years, as required. Certificate records are kept indefinitely so certificates can be verified. Waitlist entries are kept until you ask us to remove them or enrollment opens.
Your Choices
Email support@caprocklegaleducation.com to see, correct, or delete your information. Records we’re required to keep can’t be deleted before that period ends.
